ABOUT THE FORTH TRIMESTER
The first 3 months after giving birth is a precious and sacred time for both you and your baby. This phase is sometimes referred to as the 4th trimester… and is a time when traditionally a new mother would stay home with her baby, resting, recovering from the pregnancy & birth, while she moves into her new roles as mother. Then as you move out of the 4th trimester, you and your baby are ready to emerge into the world, renewed yet still delicate and treading softly.
Despite being at home with your baby for hours at a time there is much you can do to reconnect with your body through Yoga and Ayurveda, building strength, resilience and immunity. This is also the perfect opportunity to develop a deep bond with your baby, which establishes a lifetime of easeful connection & communication between you both.
